GINA PELL’S FIRST 100 DIGITS OF Pi
The secret is out. I have an odd gift for being able to memorize long sequences of numbers, or anything really. It started in college while waiting on late friends. I would memorize the names of every bottle of liquor lined up on the shelves behind the bar then recite them to a gathering crowd. This usually led to free drinks (perhaps my real motivation). Well, there were no free drinks involved in this endeavor–not even that sad cleanse shake I’m drinking. My reward is impressing my 10-year old son who challenged me to do it. He’s currently at 29 digits of Pi and inspired to take on the whole 100. Stay tuned for Pi 317. Debuting in 2017.
Especially if there’s a champagne incentive.
