Issue #112 – Your next vacation spot. Satisfaction. Guaranteed.
We are back from New Orleans but remain under its spell. There are few other cities in the world that inspire love at first sight (first French 75, first Cafe du Monde beignet, first experience getting ‘beaded’ at a pre-Mardi Gras parade). In the meantime, if you plan to be there sooner, scroll below for savvy recommendations from our globetrotting friend Uma Ramiah.

The Suit — We ran into a sharp-dressed friend recently who was sporting what looked like a beautiful bespoke suit. When he told us he only paid $399 we thought he was joking. His secret is Suit Supply. No joke.
The Read — After watching The Center Will Not Hold, the stellar documentary about Joan Didion, we decided to re-read Didion’s most excellent compendium of short stories, Slouching Towards Bethlehem. We love this handy pocket version.
The WTF — Another year, another list of foods to avoid (as well as an exotic new list of foods to double down on). Wait ’til you see some of the the crazy things that will be appearing at a grocery store or cafe nearest you.
