Issue #126 – Calling All Bookworms: TW Best Fiction 2018 List is here.
We hit a slight snag yesterday but everything is ironed out now. Smooth sailing ahead. Today’s issue is exciting because it represents the culmination of many, many hours of reading. For every book that made our list there were at least three that were hurled against walls in frustration (we have a bad habit of having to finish every book we start no matter how abysmal). If you have bookworms in your life please forward this newsletter to them and share this link on your Fb wall. We spend so much time on this list so it makes it even more worthwhile when we know more people are enjoying it. We’d also love to know your 2018 fiction favorites so please drop us a line.

The Books. It took three months but it’s finally here! Behold, The What’s Best Fiction Books-Spring 2018. GP, Content Chief and resident bookworm, read all thirteen books (and more) cover to cover. Non-Fiction picks coming soon.
The Podcast. If you don’t have time to read, try Bookish with Sonya Walger, an actress who loves reading. Sonya talks to fascinating people about the five books that have shaped who they are. We were thrilled to stumble across her interview with our friend Damon Lindelhof, screenwriter/producer (co-creator of Lost) and all-around hilariously cool guy. Take a listen here.
The Search. Here’s the most exciting search engine to launch since Google: Talk to Books, their new AI powered tool from Ray Kurzweil and team which can answer any question you have by scanning 100,000 books then generating a list of relevant responses. It’s fun to play with but especially helpful if you need to pull quotes for a presentation. Go, ahead ask away.
The Spots. 10 of the World’s Best Book Towns, places with dedicated havens to literature. Is yours one of them? And if you can’t get to these exotic locales, here’s the best hashtag to follow on Instagram. It will sweeten your daily feed with a little bookworm eye candy: #bookstagram
The Rules. Our nightstands and bookshelves runneth over so we’ve gladly become a lending library to friends. If you can relate, here’s some advice from actual librarians on How To Lend Books To Your Friends.
