Issue #134 – Best Advice For Girls + Women
A wise girlfriend recently shared some brilliant advice for young women who are just starting to navigate the tricky waters of sexuality. Most boys are not shy about advocating for their own pleasure especially, orally, when it comes to going downtown. But, our friend teaches her daughters to say, “Me first (then maybe I’ll get around to you).” It’s an empowering message to young women and men that they should both value a woman’s needs and desires. A Me First mindset does not always apply to every situation but, is critical thinking for grown women whether in the bedroom, boardroom, or everyday life. We’ve had enough of the Everyone Else First philosophy. And we’re not the only ones who think so.

The Trip. Summer is in full swing and we have an urge to hit the road, crank the tunes and explore the wonders of this vast land. We’ll be family testing a few of these epic journeys in the coming weeks. Here are some other scenic trips around the US.
The Block. Here’s a fun way to make sure the little ones wear their sunblock. Also great for Burning Man.
The Watch. If you’re looking for a new show this summer, try Succession. We’ve watched the first few episodes and it looks very promising.
The Calm. We’ve made a vow to meditate more but let’s remember, it’s not a competition. Meditate on that.
