Issue #177 – The Book Issue – Summer Reading List
The most frequent question we’ve been asked this spring is “Did I miss your ‘best of’ reading list?” And the answer is no. We’ve just been busy cranking over here on (drum roll please) the planning of another Summit for October. To calm our nerves, we’re back on a meditative book-a-day schedule (more like every two days). Have any books you love? Tell us about them here (must be 2019 release).

It’s alive! It’s alive! See below a photo of our latest stack of approved TW Fiction and read our reviews here.
No time to read? Go to Amazon and rent COLD WAR, one of the best films we’ve seen in a while (and maybe ever). If you had trouble getting into Roma but want something deep, black and white, and artsy, Cold War is your movie. It’s political, intensely passionate (have patience during the first twenty minutes which sets the stage for this epic saga) and is beautifully shot. The main actors, especially the luminous tsunami that is Joanna Kulig, are a privilege to watch.
While shopping online, we’ve come across many items of clothing and props labeled as Cosplay. We had an idea of what it meant but it wasn’t until we read this article that we got the gist of it. We’re always interested in human behavior and at least one, if not both of us, is a geek. Cosplay is not just cute dress up, it’s actually pretty fascinating.
