Issue #65 Getting What You Want
Last week we linked to The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, a metaphor that describes communication styles in toxic relationships. 100% Editorial picks. No pay for play. Ever.
The Books — If you’re crazy about books as we are, check out Dutch designer and bookmaker Irma Boom’s sumptuous library of art books. One of our favorites is the rare book with no ink on the story of Chanel No. 5. Text and images are embossed on soft paper. Exquisite.
The Deal — You don’t have to be in sales to benefit from effective negotiation skills. Without these skills, we often lose out to others or not get what we want or need. Watch this video on Prospect Theory explained by a FBI negotiator then buy the book and become an expert at it.
The Smile — Green tea obsessed, and tW Co-Founder, Amy Parker found a teeth whitening kit that works wonders on her sensitive teeth by Supersmile.
The Lab — Testing Still Standing spray this week, which promises to prevent swelling, redness, and pain through its patented cooling and anti-inflammatory ecologically safe formula. Actress Viola Davis keeps it in her purse for red carpet events so we thought we’d give it a try. Like us on Fb to see the results in a few weeks.
The One — Brilliantly written, ROTFL article by Bryan Whalen called One Vagina Forever: A Recently Engaged Guy’s Perspective On Finding The One. Or as we at tW believe: true love is like an orgasm, you shouldn’t have to wonder about whether or not you have one.
