Issue #70 Strong Women, Coffee, and Joy
It’s International Women’s Day today and these photos from around the world are a great reminder of how all of us, regardless of gender, will benefit from standing with our sisters in solidarity. 100% Editorial picks. No pay for play. Ever.
The Joe — No need to quit coffee. In fact, add chocolate for better results. And if you can’t brew it just add water to Sudden Coffee, a new tasty instant brand that we always stash in our desk drawer.
The Joy — Any article that starts “Your brain has some unhelpful ideas on its own on how to feel good” is worth a read. And if you’re one of those who is constantly trying to upgrade your life. Stop. And read this piece by our wise friend Hans Peter.
The Process — We’re constantly goal setting but often forget to reframe the objective. Here’s some sage advice to follow when trying to reach your seemingly impossible dream.
The Prada — Certainly there are more pressing concerns than finding the perfect suede slide for Spring … but if those are too spendy, try these flat mules from Oak + Fort (not as tapered but you get the idea).
The Coach — We recently stumbled upon Cody, a video learning platform that connects you to health, fitness, wellness, and nutrition coaches who will motivate, inspire, and teach you to be your best self. We’re taking Yoga For Better Sleep and will report back on The What Fb Page in a few weeks.
