Issue #80 The Future of Friendship
We’ve been talking a lot about friendship lately—how lucky we are to work together as friends and how grateful we are for all our friends who, in so many capacities, have helped us along the way. Last week we invited you to Say What our private, women-only Fb group that’s now abuzz with conversation ranging from health to books to music. It’s a place where open-minded, supportive women of all ages can connect, kick back, and make new friends. If this sounds like you, come join us.

The Love — A beautiful article on multi-generational friendships in New York Magazine today, written by our friend Verena Von Pfetten with a quote from GP on the importance of having Perennial friends of all ages.
The Lips — Personalized lipstick is all the rage in Toronto, NYC, and soon San Francisco. Bite Lip Lab has lines out the door but the shade is worth the wait.
The Spritz — Mix it up. We found 32 ways to drink your wine this weekend.
The Lust — Belgian psychologist, Esther Perel, has given TED talks exploring the tension between the need for secure love and the need to satisfy erotic desire. Where Should We Begin is her insightful new podcast that sheds light on relationships inside and outside the bedroom.
The Kids — Bored kids? Download Akinator the Genie who, through a series of questions, will guess any real or fictional character you can think of no matter how obscure. It never ceases to amaze and will raise your cool factor by 10.
THE WHAT IS
LOOKING FOR FRIENDS
If you’ve been reading The What for awhile you may have noticed that we haven’t had a Friend of the Week since December 2016. We put it on pause for a bit so we could figure out how to feature more diverse awesome people, people we don’t personally know (inspirational leaders, people marching to their own drum, our readers). We are planning on re-launching this feature in June and calling it Meet The Perennial. Know any great candidates? Nominate them here.
