Issue #95 Watch this.
This time last week we cavorted with many of The What readers in San Francisco at our first event of the season. We introduced the R|Label collection, which is flattering on all body types and ages. In other words, Perennial. We’ve included a reader code for you below. We’ll also be hosting an event in New York in November with another cool brand from Paris so, if you haven’t already, get added to our New York list now.
The What List

100% Editorial picks. No pay for play. Ever.
The Flick — Mike Mills is one of our favorite directors. Add the beautiful force that is Annette Bening and you have 20th Century Women, our suggestion for a Netflix night-in. We are also very excited to see this other-worldly film by Guillermo del Toro in theaters December 8th.
The Tracks — It’s ironic that there are a thousand ways to listen to music but discovery has become more difficult. We recently stumbled upon #musicmonday on The Fox Is Black and found a few more favorites like Omnion, by Hercules & Love Affair, to include in our playlists.
The Book — We just started reading Himself by Jess Kidd and can’t put it down. The first paragraph is a violent shock but then the tale takes a darkly magical turn. Set in the countryside of Ireland. Riveting.
The Beans — Week Four of vegetarian eating and feeling invincible. Made this satisfying lentil and roasted tomato dish by Ottolenghi last night but substituted goat cheese for gorgonzola. The vinegar soaked red onions add a welcome brightness.
The Ways — 7 Ways To Support The Women Around You by Camille Styles is a good reminder that the more we have each other’s back and engage in meaningful experiences together, the better our lives (and the world) will be.
